About this product
The Horze Silicone Bit Guards are a simple, effective solution for protecting your horse’s mouth from irritation caused by bit rings. Made from 100% clear silicone, they sit discreetly between the bit ring and the corner of the mouth without looking cumbersome.
Ideal for use with a loose ring snaffle, these guards prevent the bit from being pulled through the mouth and eliminate the risk of pinching and soreness. The 85mm diameter fits standard bit rings securely and comfortably. The clear silicone construction keeps the bridle looking clean and uncluttered from the front.
Sold as a pair. After each ride, remove from the bridle, soak in hot water, scrub with a small brush to remove residue, and dry with a clean towel.
